Outdoor Shabbat Services

July 16, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

We are excited to announce that starting June 25th we will be holding Shabbat Services outside at Sinai! This letter will explain how we intend to strike a balance between the latest CDC recommendations, local public health edicts, and a deep desire to keep all of us safe.

Here is what to expect if you are coming for outdoor Shabbat services:
-Patio seats are grouped in pods of 2, 3 or 4.
-Be a mensch! Please allow those with mobility challenges priority access to the patio seating.
-If you know you are planning to attend and require patio seating due to mobility, please contact us at 414-352-2970 by 11:00 AM on Friday. We will reserve seats for you.
-If all the patio seats are taken, or if you’d simply prefer, you are welcome to set additional Sinai chairs from the rack, or bring your own lawn chairs or blankets, to sit on the grass. Orange cones will signify where you may sit and maintain social distance.
-Please wear a mask whenever entering the building, even if you are just on your way to Sinai’s back yard. Masks are available at the door.
-In accord with social distancing recommendations, chairs will be pre-set on the patio. Please do not move these chairs.

Once outside:
-If you are vaccinated (two weeks past your last dose), masks are optional outside. Feel free to wear your mask outside even if you are vaccinated if it makes you comfortable.
-If you are not yet vaccinated, or cannot be vaccinated, masks are required outside (If you don’t have one, we will provide it for you).
-And please, if you are not feeling well, stay home and participate online.

We will not be asking for proof of vaccination, but we expect you to take the health needs of others into account. If you are not vaccinated, wear a mask. The life of a fellow congregant may depend on it.
