Tehillim in Tune is a six-week listening and discussion journey into how Jews have sung the Psalms, from ancient chant and Renaissance polyphony to the “modern traditional” synagogue sound and today’s Israeli/American voices. No score-reading required: we’ll hear selected recordings with brief Hebrew-text and content framing to deepen understanding. Rooted in Jewish practice and language, we’ll occasionally note how other traditions voice the same texts to clarify what’s distinctively ours.
